Though I had classical art training with traditional media, giving Inktober a go this year helped me realize I've become spoilt rotten with digital tools over the last couple of years, :/
Not that there's anything inherently wrong with it. But being able to get the ideas in one's head out with the bare essentials is a useful skill to have.
Mixing both? That's always a fun option. The image attached with this post is a mix of both. I drew the thing on paper with a black ink ball point pen and liquefied the shapes around and did some color correction after the fact on Procreate.
What about you lot? Do you have preference over traditional or digital media? If so, why? Have you experimented with mixing both? Tell me your thoughts in the comments!
